Call Center Associate

JOB STATEMENT
Provide basic customer service over the phone in a structured call center environment.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Handle incoming calls and provide information on clinic services.
- Identify customer needs and assist with scheduling, call transfers, or inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic customer concerns.
- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments based on availability.
- Verify insurance coverage and sliding fee eligibility.
- Document and relay messages efficiently.
- Respond to after-hours service messages promptly.
- Assess call urgency and escalate to appropriate staff (e.g., nurses).
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervision.

- Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

- Abilities:
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to sit for majority of the shift.
- Must be able to bend or stoop.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs. unassisted.
- Must have good vision (e.g, near acuity and depth perception)
- Other:
- Must be able to periodically work on Saturdays and travel locally as needed.
- Must maintain required immunizations.
